Well what do you think of the new digs? I'm pretty smitten about it, and I am excited for what the rest of the year will bring. These past few months I've been asking myself where do I see CLP going? What drives me? Why do I love photography so much? How can I grow? What will make me a better photographer? How can I make this a better experience for you? So after some reflection, soul searching and listening to my heart, I have decided to concentrate on family photography. This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy couples, or wedding photography, it just means I'm following my passion to capture family connections. It gives me more time to strictly upping my family photography techniques, engage in more learning and really give you the best experience. I love photography because it has the same magical power as a time machine, it captures moments that may never happen again and preserves it in such a beautiful way so you can continually visit it, time and time again. You never know the power of a moment until it's gone. I can't remember where I heard that or who said it first, but I remember it because it is such a powerful statement. Children change so fast and often, and I experience this with my own kids, so I believe photography is a perfect way to preserve them, just the way they are now. I have a few families that I see every year and I just love experiencing their family milestones and achievements, I look forward to seeing them every year. As for the growing part, I have a couple ideas that I will eventually tell soon enough. I will leave you with some images from my winter mini's shoot. This is one of my favourite locations in winter and summer!! Mini sessions are a great alternative to traditional sessions when you have family members with a short attention span for photos, whether that's you, your hubby, or children, we can get a lot done in 20 minutes! So if you have hesitant family members tell them all about how quick and easy mini sessions are. Thank you for being here!!
I hope you are having a wonderful day, please leave a comment on your thoughts, ideas and what you think about the new website.
